End of the year!!

The end of the year s here…. I don’t think I am going to be writing on here anymore very much. Although if people start leaving comments or something I could write back to them. Well… thank you all for reading my blog. Ill  catch ya guys later…. cya 🙂

Heyy readers… Today when we came in to school our teacher told us something that was kind of shocking. The government is trying to make a new law that wont let people (including myself) download music off limewire. If we get caught doing it there will be a $500 fine per file!! now thats just dumb…hey? sure it is…but here is something dumber, if you get caught downloading the file from limewire and then uploading it up to you tube you get a $20,000 fine…. I think that is just dumb…and I hope that they don’t make that a law or I’m going to be paying like $600,000! lol…well cya guys later… school time -.-

Truth is…

To me truth means telling the truth and not lieing. Yes I have lied many of times to people I love (My mom, dad, etc.), my friends and people I completely hate, and yes there will be other times I am going to lie.

What I know is that everybody does not tell the truth AT LEAST once in their life, I dont know anyone who has never told a lie that is at least 10 years old… sure there are the hard times when its hard to tell the truth. But after a while it goes away and then when you think back you say to yourself, “Man, im sure glad I told the truth that one time…”, and then there are the other times when you do lie and you look back and say, “I wish I didnt lie that one time…” or something like that. Sometimes a lie can ruin your entire life, and other times a lie can save your entire life.

What I also know is that when I was about 4 years old my parents broke up. It was really sad when I realized I’m not going to be seeing my dad very much, when it happened I didn’t really know what was happening, so he said to me that he is going to be leaving for a while, I just said “ok cya later man!”. Yeaaa… I know it sounds dumb, but I didn’t know I wasn’t going to see him in a year or 2, and ill admit, it still is hard at times, like when I go there in the summers it is very hard to leave!

Hello, my name is Dustin, I like to go biking in the summer time. I also like sitting on my computer on a really rainy day and not coming out of my room :P, I like to play Guitar hero and Rockband to, my all time favourite thing to do is go ski-doing though :P. Uhhmmmm yea… thats like all I can say about me haha. cya 🙂

Lock down….

Yeaaa… in school we had a substitute teacher, me, Mike, Kelsey, Randy and Tyler kind of got her a it mad and we go lock down when Mr. Fisher got back. When we are in lock down we cant do anything… and I mean ANYTHING. If we talk while we are in lock down we have to write out a full entire dictionary page… and before we can do anything we have to finish it. Like, ok… lets say he gives us 250 math questions to do, (hes not that mean, lol. But im just saying) we would have to do them all for homework, an also if we didn’t get the dictionary page done that was also homework.

I didn’t get a dictionary page yet, (surprisingly) but Kelsey did 😛

But, I gotta get back to school. haha cya! 😀

2nd question for school

Hello,

The second question Mr.Fisher put on his blog is: What do the students want to know?

Well, I’m a student, (obviously :P) I want to learn how to be better at math! the reason why I want to get better at math is because I love math! haha, and if I want to be a truck driver I have to know how to do math easily for when I stop at weigh stations and stuff like that :P.

What I would also like to know is how to make chicken the way my mom does! When she makes it, she cooks it so its very tender and she adds some sort of terriyaki sauce or something, and its really good. Its probly my favourite food :P.

One of the most important things I want to learn is how to manage my money once I get a good job doing whatever it is I do! I want to be able to see something and buy it, well of course I dont want to be really rich, I jsut wanna have a bit of money so I can buy what I want when I want and not have to worry about not having enough money.

I want to know how to fix my own computer!! haha, but anyways.. yea… thats what I want to know! cya 😀

T.E.D talks

Hey guys (and ladies),

In school we did presentations about certain global issues that are going on right now… I chose to do global warming, (along with about 4 others!!) What I learned about global warming is that, in some peoples minds global warming is going to destroy the earth and we should stop it NOW! well first… it can not be stopped, I mean of course it can be slowed down but it cannot be slowed down… in other peoples minds global warming is happening and we should try to slow it down but eventually it will pass, we shouldnt wory that much. Then on some peoples blogs that I read while I was finding infromation, they said that global warming isnt happening, it is just how the earth wants to do it blah blah blah. From my prospective I say global warming IS happening, but I dont think that it is going to destroy our earth entirely!! Well lets say it was going to destroy the earth… its not going to happen for a long time… mabe 50-70 years, We will probably all be dead!

But anyways… enough with all of that :P. The part that sucked about doing this is that I got 0/70 mraks for not having it complete :O! But I have to admit… it was fun and I hope we do it again sometime this year! 😀

Questions for school

Hey guys… I thought wrong on my last post :O! I thought they were going to be putting up 2 posts a DAY, but really they are putting up 2 posts a WEEK! Well anyways, sorry.

These are the new questions, the first one is: What is the most important thing that a parent can do for a teenager?

From my prospective the most important thing my mom can do for me right now, (cause I’m a teenager :P) would probably be giving me money and stuff, of course I have a job though… but my mom wants me to save my money so whenever I need some I just ask her :D! I would also say that I need food and drinks and stuff.

No one really absolutely NEEDS dirt bikes and quads, or computers… You absolutely NEED your parents though :D. If I didn’t have my mom, (not so much my dad, he lives 9 hours away from me!) I don’t know what I would do! It would just be like 50 years of boredom and quietness! Yea it would suck… But thats what I think parents can do for teenagers! 😀

Call of duty 4

Hello people,

What I am writing about today is a game called: “Call of duty 4: Modern warfare”. It is a game I have for play station 3. It is a shooting game, you can either do missions and just get a bit of skill, or you can go online and play against other people. When I play online I use my bluetooth microphone. A bluetooth microphone is something that I ca hook up to my ear and talk to the other people. When you go online there are different types of matches you can go in, they are: Team death, free for all, tactical team death match, ground war, there are about 10 more but those are my favorite ones. When you are playing online you have to level up in order to get better weapons and better off-side weapons. There are a maximum of 55 levels. it takes about 2-4 days of played time in order to get there, (it takes a while) my character is only level 31 so far, when you get to level 55 you can click something called “prestige mode”, Prestige mode is a thing you click and it puts you back to level one with no more weapons, but it gives you a different logo beside you name. My brother is level 55 and he used prestige mode once, his played time is about 6 days. Call of duty 4 is one of my favorite games that I have for play station 3. An thats about it :D.

Culture

Here is the second question, “If you could put 3 aspects of your culture into a box what would they be?”

If I could only take 3 things from my home it would be my ps3, t.v. and food hehe… but being serious I think that I would take food, water and maybe  my cat!  To  me the world culture means home, because no matter where you live it is still your home, which is your culture. Cultures can be boxed! (I think…) Snow Lake (Where I live) is in the middle of no where surrounded by forest. If thats what you mean by being boxed then ya :D. What I value in my culture is everything. What I would want to save and preserve are the trees, the lakes, the houses, but most of all the view.
